With wide open arms, with gentleness and calmness, with compassion and without judgment, SoulType 9s hold and support all living things. Nothing and no one is partially held. The peacefulness in the face of SoulType 9s shows that they live as one with all there is. SoulType 9s flow with ease in all situations. Nothing and no one is ‘right’ and nothing and no one is ‘wrong.’ With their breath, SoulType 9s relax their body in order to move fluidly in their surroundings. SoulType 9s show you how to harmonize your breath and movement to free your body from the strain of life’s stresses, flow with changing circumstances, and create nourishing experiences for everyone. In this way you can travel along your soul’s path with ease, leave no one out, and move humanity forward with you.
Posture of Strength
There are nine different families of human souls, and your body expresses which family you belong to. We have developed a simple way to bring forth the expression of your soul. When a facilitator challenges you to stand your ground without pushing back, you will naturally assume your posture of strength.
When you find your posture of strength and align yourself with your soul's wisdom, you will feel energized and more alive. The wisdom of your soul is a gift of love you give to the world. It is the most meaningful and significant thing that you have to offer.
Each of the nine soultypes contributes a vital link to the expression of the human spirit. For 9s it is using the soul to integrate the messages that come from the world. This wisdom of the soul gives 9s the opportunity to find their true path through life. It is not that the true path is effortless, it is not that the true path is easy, it is not that the true path is smooth; rather it is that the true path utilizes every opportunity and every circumstance to move through life without internal resistance.
The energy of each of the nine soultypes forms the basis for the spirituality of one of the major religions of the world. (This does not mean that you should join that faith, it only means that you can learn more about your essential nature by studying the spirituality of that religion.) For 9 this religion is Taoism. The following paragraph from Huston Smith's book "The World's Religions" describes the fundamental Taoist concept of wu wei:
Wu wei is the supreme action, the precious suppleness, simplicity, and freedom that flows from us, or rather through us, when our private egos and conscious efforts yield to a power not their own. In a way it is virtue approached from a direction diametrically opposite to that of Confucius. Confucius turned every effort to building a pattern of ideal responses that might be consciously imitated. Taoism's approach is the opposite-to get the foundations of the self in tune with Tao and let behavior flow spontaneously. Action follows being; new action will follow new being, wiser being, stronger being. The Tao Te Ching puts this point without wasting a word. "The way to do," it says, "is to be." (p. 208)
To fully experience the present moment. To breathe. To breathe deeply. To relieve the stresses and strains of your body by breathing into them. To cleanse your body. To align your body with everything around you. The body that you inhabit is sacred. It must be treated with great respect. It has its limitations. It is there to serve you. Keep it clean, keep it free of hurt and fear and worry and anger, keep it well tuned, keep it ready for the next experience. Keep it pain free. Do not leave it to go to other places. Do not lose track of it. Do not put it in harm's way. Do not harm others with it.
