SoulType 2s can engage with anyone, anywhere, for any reason, at any time, in a way that is energizing and life-enhancing for everyone. SoulType 2 energy makes it possible for you to feel the fun and joy of being with other human beings. Compelled to express their life force energy through movement, SoulType 2s show you how to express yourself through your own movement. Without movement, there is no life! SoulType 2s feel great interest in you because you are a fellow human being. SoulType 2s bring a wellspring of enlivening energy to you, to energize you. Using the dynamic energy that comes through their own bodies, they ‘dance’ with you and draw you out so you can do the dance of life together.
Posture of Strength
There are nine different families of human souls, and your body expresses which family you belong to. We have developed a simple way to bring forth the expression of your soul. When a facilitator challenges you to stand your ground without pushing back, you will naturally assume your posture of strength.
When you find your posture of strength and align yourself with your soul's wisdom, you will feel energized and more alive. The wisdom of your soul is a gift of love you give to the world. It is the most meaningful and significant thing that you have to offer
Each of the nine soultypes is a vital link to the expression of the human spirit. For 2s this link is the ability to engage with another human being to create a true partnership. 2s maintain their point of view while holding and respecting the other person's point of view. This creates a dynamic situation where force is absent and a true personal exchange can take place. In comparison, when non-2s converse with each other, the exchange can consist of little more than both people bouncing their points of view off of each other.
Whenever there are differences there is tension. The 2 way of being transforms this tension into a relationship that can grow and lead to new understanding.
The energy of each of the nine soultypes forms the basis for the spirituality of one of the major religions of the world. (This does not mean that a SoulType 2 should join that faith, it only means they can learn more about their essential nature by studying the spirituality of that religion.) For 2 this religion is Judaism. The following paragraph from Huston Smith's book "The World's Religions" describes Judaism's focus on the tension of being human:
The other possibility challenges people to look closer to home — to search for causes of their problems in places where they can effect changes. Seen in this light, the Jewish affirmation that the world is God-created equipped them with a constructive premise. However desperate their lot, however deep the valley of the shadow of death they found themselves in, they never despaired of life itself. Meaning was always waiting to be won; the opportunity to respond creatively was never absent. (pp 277-278)
...connecting with people to experience them in your body and engage them with your bright eyes. To follow every nuance of their process. To dance with their experience as if you have been dancing partners since birth. Being so in touch with another person that you can feel how they are reacting to what is going on around them, giving you the freedom to respect their being. Every person experiences joy and pain and wonder and fear and love and hate and understanding and confusion. It is all part of being human. Knowing this about another person creates a dance.
