SoulType 1s live with one foot in the physical world and one foot in the spiritual world—in the ‘unknowable.’ When SoulType 1s raise their chins and expose their throats, they become connected more fully with the life-force energy that some people call the Source of Creation, and they can connect you with the Source, as well. SoulType 1s teach humanity that vulnerability and receptivity make people stronger than force and aggression ever could. It is only through vulnerability and receptivity that people can access the creative evergy of the Source. SoulType 1s show you that you are pure beauty, pure essence, pure Source energy, and that all people are equal and eternal.

Posture of Strength

There are nine different families of human souls, and your body expresses which family you belong to. We have developed a way to bring forth the expression of your soul. When a facilitator challenges you to stand your ground without pushing back, you will naturally assume your posture of strength. The posture of strength for SoulType 1 is shown above.

When you find your posture of strength and align yourself with your soul's wisdom, you will feel energized and more alive, and have more to offer humanity. The wisdom of your soul is a gift of love you give to the world. It is the most meaningful and significant thing that you have to offer.

What is SoulType 1?

Each of the nine soultypes is a vital link to the expression of the human spirit. For 1s this link is the ability to sense people beyond their external appearance and character, and connect with the dignity and beauty of the soul. From here comes the recognition that all people are equal. 1s communicate their openness to interacting from the soul by lifting their chin, exposing their throat, and softening their eyes into inviting pools.

The energy of each of the nine soultypes forms the basis for the spirituality of one of the major religions of the world. (This does not mean that a SoulType 1 should join that faith, it only means they can learn more about their essential nature by studying the spirituality of that religion.) You can learn more about the essential nature of SoulType 1 by studying the spirituality of that religion. For 1 this religion is Confucianism. In this religion, the divine gift is jen, which is explained in Huston Smith's book "The World's Religions" as follows:

Jen involves simultaneously a feeling of humanity toward others and respect for oneself, an indivisible sense of the dignity of human life wherever it appears. Subsidiary attitudes follow automatically: magnanimity, good faith, and charity. In the direction of jen lies the perfection of everything that would make one supremely human. (p. 172)

The Experience of Being a SoulType 1

...being with another person until you feel a sensation in your chest of your heart opening up to them. To be with another person or gaze into another person's eyes until you both soften. To truly know from the depth of your being that you are both human spirits and that nothing else matters. Your sex, your social standing, your age, your looks, your skin color, your hair style—all of that pales in front of connecting, together, with the mystery of life. There can be no anger, there can be no hate, there can be no resentment. There is just the truth that all human beings are equal and that all life is sacred. There are no exceptions.
