Inspirational Role Models

Except in times of crisis, few people are able to live from soul. The following people were able to more consistently come from soul, which made them an inspiration for peace. They are people you can use as role models. Read what they wrote, read what other people have said about them, and find videos that depict them. In this way, you can learn from these people how to let your soul guide your life.

SoulType 1 (essence) Robert Kennedy for his speech which prevented rioting in Indianapolis after Martin Luther King's death.
SoulType 2 (engagement) John Wooden, the most successful college basketball coach who never spoke about winning, but about doing one's best.
SoulType 3 (inspiration) Helen Keller, who inspired compassion and help for the blind and disabled around the world.
SoulType 4 (alignment) Florence Nightingale, who instituted the safe and compassionate practice of modern nursing.
SoulType 5 (understanding) Eleanor Roosevelt, who was responsible for the United Nations adopting the Declaration of Human Rights.
SoulType 6 (insight) Morihei Ueshiba, who developed the non-violent martial art Aikido, which he called the Art of Peace.
SoulType 7 (vision) Thomas Jefferson, who was the principal author of the Declaration of Independence.
SoulType 8 (integrity)

Mother Teresa, Nobel Peace Prize winner who devoted her life to helping the "poorest of the poor."

Winston Churchill for his role in holding the ideal of what the people of Great Britain could become during World War II.

SoulType 9 (integration) Nelson Mandela, who won the Nobel Peace Prize for South Africa's peaceful transition from apartheid.
