soul-to-soul interaction

This student wrote: The persona photo is of someone who is more conscious of being looked at than of looking at the other. The intentions are good: I want you to know that I'm interested, that I care, that I want to connect. And the result is that much of my energy is going to putting on an expression that I think shows that. In this space, I also am concerned with saying/doing the right thing so that you know I'm interested and care, yet not being too intrusive. So again, energy and attention is on myself, thinking about how to do this and concerned with how I am seen.

The soul photo is of someone really looking out. In this place, I'm not looking inside myself for the information of how to show that I care—I'm looking at the other and being with the energy of the other and the space. Because I am so much more immersed in the "being" of other and of how interesting that is, I don't even think about if it looks that way or not. And there's a feeling and a trust in the energy of the space where I don't even question it. It's a much calmer place for me—far less things to "handle". I can just be with the other person.
