Typical persona expression

Expression during a soul-to-soul interaction |
Persona
Neither of these photographs is posed. Both the persona photograph on the left, and the soul-to-soul photograph on the right, were taken while this person was engaged with either Barbara or Alan.
The photograph on the left captures this person's persona. When living from persona, you have fixed ideas and preconceived notions of what should happen, how people - including yourelf - should behave, and how life should be.
From persona, you frequently have an agenda in mind. You can only partially take into account the person in front of you which limits your ability to interact with others. You are not as present as when you engage from your soul. The difference between communicating from persona and from soul can be seen in the photographs of the woman above and in the photographs below.

In each pair, the photograph on the left is of the persona. On the right is a photograph of the same person during a soul-to-soul connection with another person. |

These are photographs of New Equations students. They are all talented, successful people. Yet, if you take a non-posed photograph of them, you can capture a static glimpse of their persona (photograph on left) and see a moment when they were limited. At that moment in time they were focused on themselves and unable to effectively be with others. |

The soul-to-soul photographs are very special. They express the beauty of these people's souls. You can see in the eyes that each person has come out to be in the worldavailable for whatever happens without a preconceived agenda. All the people in the soul-to-soul photographs have a timeless, radiant quality about them. In this state of aliveness and availability people grow and thrive as they draw on the energy of the Source of Creation to participate in the creative process of life.
