Welcome to our information page about the two-year New Equations Training Program beginning August 9, 2008.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Human beings experience a deep sense of knowing, a call to connect with the Source of Creation within themselves. This knowing, or quest that humans have for living life directed from the deeper place of the soul has led many people to New Equations. New Equations provides a platform and physical practice that helps integrate the changes necessary to access the deeper place.

New Equations taps into an ancient stream of wisdom that helps people tangibly experience nine distinct spiritual energies that make up the fabric of humanity. In this program you will physically experience and learn to access the one unique spiritual energy and related wisdom that you and others like you bring into the world for the benefit of all. You will also come to perceive and appreciate the other unique spiritual energies that are different from your own but equally important to the whole of humanity. Through years of practice with thousands of people on a global basis, we have discovered that when people consciously align with their soul strength in this way they are able to bring their best to whatever activity or path they choose to undertake. Participants in this program learn how to connect and communicate with people in such a way that those with whom they engage discover the physical expression of their own spiritual nature. This two year program offers participants four distinct levels of participation.

The first year lays the groundwork and includes four residential retreats. Between each retreat, homework, video consultation, supervised soultyping practice, participation in additional workshops (no fee) is offered. Depending on which level of participation you choose, you will be more or less involved in these training opportunities. A certificate is presented to each participant to acknowledge their completion of the first year.

The second year is an internship and offers you the opportunity to attend two retreats the second year at no charge. In collaboration with other graduates, you may create supervised learning opportunities for yourself (soultyping, group events, workshops, etc.). There will also be opportunities to travel and co-teach with graduates living in other parts of the world. A certificate honoring completion of the second year will be presented.

CO-TEACHERS: Graduates will be in attendance at each residential retreat to assist with your training, as well as to continue their own.

PREREQUISITE: You need to have been soultyped by Alan, Barbara, or one of the graduates.

HEALTH REQUIREMENT: Participants need to be in good health with minimal or no physical limitations.

ONGOING TRAINING BETWEEN SESSIONS:

1) Depending on which of the program tracks you choose, the following may be required: homework (for example, soultyping practice of public figures on YouTube), attendance at continuing education workshops between retreats either in person or via video conferencing depending on your location (no additional fee for these workshops), and students will be expected to write about their experiences as they progress and post their writing on the program yahoo group. This is one of the ways in which students contribute to the learning of their fellow classmates and the New Equations community.

2) All students will be required to sign up for SightSpeed, a free online video conferencing service, so connection with each student is easy throughout the year. A high-speed internet connection is necessary.

Marin Door To Door is a shuttle you can book to take you from SFO, the major Bay Area airport in San Francisco, to IONS. The Marin Airporter from SFO, or the Airport Express from/to Sonoma County to the Oakland Airport or SFO, is another option. You would be dropped off at a hotel near IONS, where you would then take a taxi the final distance. New Equations students living in the Bay Area are also available to help you with transportation to IONS. Please contact our office and we will be happy to help you make travel arrangements.

 

 

 

 

SPECIAL NOTE TO THOSE TRAVELING FROM OVERSEAS: We want you to get as much as possible from the program. Please plan to arrive in the San Francisco Bay Area a minimum of four days before the program begins so you have time to get over jet lag. We have learned from much experience that you will have difficulty focusing, and be quite tired, if you do not have time to adjust to the new time zone. This is a great opportunity to sightsee, visit with friends, or just rest and enjoy some time to yourself! Sight seeing is easy to do during jet lag recovery as it does not require much focus, and you can sleep and rest whenever you need to.

STARTING AND ENDING TIMES: Each of the four retreats will begin at 9:00 AM on the first day and end at 7:00 PM on the last day. The first meal at each retreat will be lunch, and the last meal on the last day will be dinner. Arrangements can be made in advance for those who want to arrive at IONS a day early, or stay overnight the last day, by contacting Myrna Jones, info@newequations.com or 415-459-6796. Please book additional nights well in advance as IONS may book up.

ATTENDANCE POLICY: Attendance is required for all course days. Due to the unique nature of this program, we do not accommodate late arrival or early departure – no exceptions. Please make sure your transportation arrangements will not make it necessary for you to either arrive late or leave early. Only students who complete all four segments will be eligible to receive a certificate and continue on to the next part of the program.

REGISTRATION: A deposit of $1,000 USD (nonrefundable) reserves your space in the program. You may pay online and your credit card can be charged by clicking here. Or, you may reserve your space in the program by providing us with your credit card information, or sending us a check in US dollars. Call 415-459-6796, or email info@newequations.com. ONCE YOU HAVE REGISTERED: A graduate advisor will be assigned to you and they will contact you soon after you register. Your advisor is available to help you in several ways. They can answer any questions you may have, as well as help you plan your trip to IONS. Your advisor will also begin introducing you to the New Equations program. You will also be invited to join a special Yahoo Group with other 2008 students so that communication with everyone involved in the program is easy. This yahoo group includes many graduates, as well. You will also need to sign up with SightSpeed (no fee) so that video conferencing with you is possible.

TUITION: $10,000 USD for four retreats ($2,500 per retreat)

TUITION PLUS ROOM AND BOARD: Choose one of the four room and board options listed below. The fees listed below show the total due for tuition, room, meals, (eight days and seven nights) at all four retreats, inclusive. We highly recommend that you book your meals and lodging at IONS as it is not easily accessible from hotels, and requires a drive on the freeway during rush hour. Most students prefer to stay at the retreat center in order to participate more with the community, and because each day the schedule is different and not predictable.

NOTE: Each retreat begins after breakfast on the first day, and ends after dinner on the last day. If you would like to stay overnight at IONS after dinner on the last day, please advise the New Equations office as soon as possible as space is limited. You will need to pay additional fees for extra nights and meals.

1) Tuition, Single occupancy, Meals --- $14,716 USD Includes: New Equations tuition; private room at IONS; and all meals during the four retreats. 2) Tuition, Double occupancy, Meals --- $13,977 USD Includes: New Equations tuition; you will share a room with one person; includes all of your meals during the four retreats. 3) Tuition & Meals --- $12,575 USD Includes New Equations tuition; includes all of your meals during the four retreats. You make your own arrangements to sleep at a different location (not at IONS) 4) Tuition & Day Use Fee --- $11,004 USD Includes New Equations tuition and Day Use Fee. You will not eat or sleep at the retreat center. (IONS charges a fee for you to attend a program at their center, even if you do not sleep or eat there called a "Day Use Fee.")

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

PAYMENT DUE DATES AND INSTALLMENT PAYMENT OPTIONS: A student may pay for the full two year program by making one payment, or use one of these payment plans:

1) If paying by credit card: 12 monthly payments of 1/12 of the total due, less your $1,000 deposit. Each payment is due on the 10th of each month beginning July 10, 2008. Your card will be automatically charged from the New Equations office. 2) If paying by check: four payments of 1/4 of the total due, less your $1,000 deposit. Payments are due on the following dates: July 15, 2008; October 15, 2008; January 15, 2009; May 15, 2009

 

 

 

 

 

CANCELLATION POLICY: If a student withdraws from the program at any point during the training, a refund will be given for course fees that have been applied to unattended retreat(s), less a $1,300 cancellation fee. Once you have begun a retreat, no refund will be given for fees applied to that retreat. If you withdraw from the program within a month of the start of a retreat, your room and meal fees for that retreat are not refundable.
