The Apprentice, Part 1

This article explores the soultypes of participants in the popular new thirteen-part series, The Apprentice. This reality show has skyrocketed in popularity.

Keep in mind that most of the behavior that you see in this program does not represent living from soul. It represents what we call the persona and expresses how most people function, most of the time.

Synopsis of the show: Donald Trump, a SoulType 8, sets up challenges for a select group of highly talented entrepreneurs to see who will "have what it takes" to be his apprentice. As his apprentice, the winner of the competition will become president of one of Donald's companies for one year.

Part 3 of this series, Respect, shows what it looks like when a SoulType 7 (Sam) moves in and out of connection with people and the world around him. When he loses connection, he becomes more involved with what is going on in his head--ideas, etc.--than with people. You can see how hard this is both on him and on his teammates.

The genius of SoulType 7 is the ability to help people find their unique identity and path. SoulType 7s are intensely passionate about this. They facilitate the ending of what is obsolete in a way that moves people on with ease and excitement to something better.

Donald saw the SoulType gift in Sam: the potential to bring something truly innovative to an organization. Donald said: "I think he's going to get some company in huge trouble, or he's going to take some company to a level that they never knew about." However, Sam was not able to stay connected enough with people to share his 7 genius with them.

In this episode, it is easy to see Sam move from his movement/energy center at his forehead, since he is on film so extensively.

We have listed below the soultypes of other contestants whose soultypes we have been able to determine. When we know more, we will let you know.

Heidi Bressler--SoulType 1
Ereka Vetrini--SoulType 4
David Gould--SoulType 5
Sam Solovey--SoulType 7
