Masaru Emoto - Messages From Water

The following is a message from Barbara Tovey, co-founder of New Equations:

Hi everyone,

I would like to tell you about an experience I had six months ago.

Alan and I were teaching in Tokyo, Japan, last July. One day I got off a subway train and began walking through the tunnel when something caught my eye. My body jolted. I backed up and looked more closely. I was transfixed, and I let everyone else walk on ahead of me.

Large photos of water crystals were on display, including a spectacular photo of a crystal with the word "Love and Gratitude" under it; another dark, distorted image had the words "You Fool" under it; there was a stunning crystal with the word "Peace" underneath, and then a frightening, mutilated image next to the word "War." I read that these were "Messages From Water."

Distilled water had been exposed to the word associated with it, then frozen, slowly thawed, and photographed while still in the crystalline state just before melting. A metal optical microscope with external camera was used to take the photo in a refrigerated room (-5 degrees Celsius). The result, apparently, was that the water mirrored the energies that it had been exposed to, showing the quality of the energy with a crystal image. The words carried the energy - the "message" - to the water. If what I was seeing was true, how fantastic this was!

Alan and I are always looking for ways in which Spirit communicates through the physical. Like the soultype postures of strength that show the great beauty of the human soul, this seemed to be another way that Spirit was communicating through a physical expression.

What I saw in the subway was something I was determined to look into when I got home to the US. Just recently I had this opportunity.

Masaru Emoto, a SoulType 5, is the person who developed the means to photograph these messages. He has written several books, and a couple videos are also available. He teaches throughout the world bringing people the messages from water.

These messages are important because the human body is primarily made of water, as is the surface of the earth. How you think about your body changes your physicality, and also changes that which has your focus. You've heard this concept before, I'm sure, but the photos show you physical evidence. What a wonderful way Emoto has discovered for us all to see that our feelings and the very words we say or think create reality.

This is a remarkable discovery. All the pieces are not yet in place, and there is still speculation around the implications, but the work is inspirational and helps bring peace and balance to Earth.

Emoto has written a compelling description of the implications of the tsunami disaster in the Indian Ocean and how we can begin to heal from it. He says: "The most effective prayer is the feeling of Love and Thanks. Now is the time to send the feeling of Love and Thanks to the earth's water."
