I was born in Norway and since I was a little girl I have felt drawn to take care of people and animals. I remember my first responsibility was taking care of my mother when she was giving birth to my brother. She was in pain and was lying in the back of the car as my father was driving to the hospital. I remember my father calmly saying: â€Take care of your mother, she is in pain.†I remember the feeling of responsibility and also the feeling of having been seen at a very deep level. I was three years old! I put a blanket around her and sat very still beside her.
I grew up in a healthy, harmonic, supportive and happy family. While growing up I traveled a lot so I have always loved experiencing and learning about new cultures and places.
The first meeting I had with New Equations was an invitation on the web to a summer retreat in 2005. My body immediately felt drawn to the energy and the context. It felt so compelling. I just knew this was something very special and that has never changed. What I found in New Equations were body-based practices that help me to develop my spiritual nature.
Today my husband and I live on a little farm outside Oslo. We love being so close to nature; it gives us more energy. My life is centered on New Equations and this allows me to meet life in an easy, fun, free and happy way. This way of being is in constant change and growth and leads me in totally new unexpected directions. Each day I experience the possibility of functioning from all nine energy centers. That makes a huge difference in my relationships, choices and understanding.
My life as a New Equations teacher makes it possible for me to stay more awake and to contribute to humanity by bringing back the wisdom of ancient Egypt. Through New Equations I teach people to connect the body and the soul, to be more grounded in the present, and create new energy. This helps us create a reality based on what’s needed now. Then we can move things forward in a way that allows us to take care of people, animals and the earth.
My vision for New Equations is to be able to bring the past into the present with the wisdom from ancient Egypt meeting our current reality so we can create a new chapter in world history.
